Cottage Children’s Hospital welcomes leading pediatric surgeon Dr. Tamir Keshen.

Trained at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Dr Keshen will bring new expertise to the Central Coast region.

He has focused his practice on minimally invasive surgery in both the chest and abdomen, including inflammatory bowel disease, neonatal congenital anomalies, oncology, gastroesophageal reflux disease and pectus excavatum.

A qualified researcher and author, his areas of interest include surgical metabolism, innovative minimally invasive surgical techniques, and surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and adolescent obesity.
