Visits to the Critical Care Units -- Intensive Care Unit and Critical Care Unit -- are usually unplanned. They can result from a chronic or acute illness, an accident, or recovery from major surgery. Whatever the need, the SBCH CC staff provides care across the complete spectrum of critical care services. As a teaching hospital, we continually develop and advance the techniques that improve patient care.
