Cottage Health System offers a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services in inpatient and outpatient settings. An endoscope is a medical device consisting of a camera mounted on a flexible tube that allows physicians to see abnormalities like inflammation or bleeding that can’t be seen as easily on x-rays. Should immediate treatment be necessary, patients have access to Cottage’s extensive network of medical resources. Our highly trained staff emphasizes patient privacy, comfort, and safety. Our nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and have extensive experience specifically in endoscopy services. We also have certified gastroenterology registered nurses (CGRN).
