Private Rooms: At the admitting desk, you will receive your room assignment. Private rooms are subject to availability on the day of admission at an additional charge. Please make this request in advance. A deposit will be required.

Insurance Identification: Copies of your insurance card, military I.D., or current MediCal card should be given to Admitting in advance for verification/authorization.

Written Advance Directives: Any advance directives need to be given regarding your health care. We can supply you in advance with pre-existing forms to help facilitate these directives. You can obtain a copy of an advance directive in English or Spanish here. Forms may also be obtained by calling calling Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Admitting at (805) 688-6431, ext. 278.

Admission Deposit: The admission deposit is the portion of your estimated total bill that insurance does not cover, and/or for which you are responsible. The deposit can be paid by cash, check, or major credit card.
