When it’s time to go home, your physician will write a discharge order on the medical record and you will be informed.

The discharge procedure may include a stop at the Cashier’s Desk near the main lobby. Hours at Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Billing and Payment Policy: The hospital will act as your billing agent and bill your insurance for you. If you wish to discuss financial arrangements, please contact one of our Patient Financial Counselors at (805) 879-8900.

Note: In addition to your hospital bill, you may also receive separate bills from your physician, anesthesiologist, radiologist, or other specialists who cared for you. Please make any billing inquiries directly to them.
