Wound Management:

What to Expect

Your first appointment will take between 60 and 90 minutes. The appointment will include an initial assessment of your wound. One of our specially trained nurses will perform this, and gather information from you about your medical and surgical history and the reason you came to the wound center.

You will be asked questions about your current medications, nutrition, and previous wound care. You will then see one of our Wound Center physicians, who will review your medical history, and assess your current wound.
