Physical Therapy (Inpatient)
Physical therapy assesses a patient's physical limitations and helps the patient recover to his or her maximum potential. A physical therapist assists and educates the patient to regain strength, coordination, balance, and mobility skills. Regaining these skills helps prevent further disability or injury.
A physical therapist also recommends appropriate equipment to enhance mobility and safety prior to the patient's return home. Each patient's program is designed for his or her special needs and goals.
