As a not-for-profit health system, it is entirely because of donations from you and your friends and neighbors that Cottage Health System is able to remain in the forefront of medical excellence for everyone in the community.

 

Tax-deductible gifts to any of Cottage Health System's foundations*  can be:

  • pledged and paid over a period of up to five years
  • structured as an outright gift of cash, securities, real property, business interests, or other
    assets, and can also be structured through a tax-exempt charitable trust, life-estate, charitable gift annuity, or other planned gift technique (learn more about planned giving options here >> )
  • recognized through naming opportunities.

By remembering Cottage Health System with a bequest in your will, you can have a significant impact on the health care of future generations. Your bequest may have estate tax planning benefits as well. Normally, the value of the estate tax charitable deduction applicable to these types of provisions is the fair market value of the property at the date of death.
